Our Stable
Located on a country road in East Chatham NY, the farm is surrounded by acres of rolling hills, in the hamlet of New Concord. The farm offers all that you need and is the ideal place to further your training and enjoy your horse without the hustle and bustle of a lesson facility or busy public barn. We are near Albany, Chatham, Ghent and Hudson NY as well as the Berkshires which means top veterinary care, chiro, massage as well as major shows are just around the corner. Pine Hill Farm is a family run operation and was purchased by Katrin and her Husband ( an organic farmer/ stone mason and Excavation contractor) in 2022. Together they are proudly stewarding this piece of land with sustainability and a healthy Eco system at the helm of their property management. Pine Hill Farm is where horses are allowed to be horses and reach their potential as Sport horses.

Our barn is designed for both horse and rider comfort.
7 oversized Stalls with Euro front stall doors, windows and Bar-Bar frost free auto waterers.
2 in-and out shed row stalls that open into a dry lot paddocks.
Shed/pasture - our young horses and retired horses enjoy living as nature intended. They live in a herd with hay feeder/ heated water in winter, shed friends and amply pasture.
Stalls picked 2x a day and bedded deeply with premium dust free chopped straw.
Premium Hay- fed free choice/ in nets/ as needed
Custom feed - grain/ forage based feed customized to each individual horses needs.

For the Rider
Katrin offers Lessons, training rides, and coaching to her boarders as well as ship-in clients. She travels regularly to Clinics in the local area and recently began offering virtual coaching.
Katrin is a compassionate instructor who is positive and encouraging. Her foundation in Classical Dressage and her deep knowledge of biomechanics, allow her to foster balance between horse and rider, coupled with her creative approach make her unique. While showing is fun it isn’t for everyone, and Katrin is dedicated to all her students - As learning and developing the horse and rider team is her deepest passion. Creating balance and harmony is what it’s all about!

For the Horse
Offerings specific to the horses- we love starting babies, re-training the difficult ones, moving up the levels, as well as keeping the upper-level horses tuned, showing, happy, and sound. We believe that horses need to have a good foundation to be happy and sound in mind and body, to live a long healthy life. Katrin’s approach to training starts by looking at the ‘Whole’ horse and then working in-depth on the details - Thus training and developing a balanced sound happy horse under saddle that is comfortable and confident in our human environment.

Sales Program
Our sales program is there to help you match with your next partner, or find a new partner for your horse. We do everything, the marketing, the training, showing the horses to prospective buyers, and overseeing the vetting and sale. Selling a horse on your own can be emotional and daunting we are here to help the process go smoothly and easily for both the horse and buyers/sellers.
